I couldn't be happier with the combination. While the presentation is tonally unbalanced, the bass never threatens to drown out the rest of the frequency range. Speed, transparency, natural sounding, excellent midrange, well articulated bass, highs, It will disappoint you if you are a bass freak. Another surprise is how revealing they are. Great bass it is not overpowering but very tight and controled, they make me realize how bass bloated my missions were. Here is a loudspeaker that sets standards at its price point and makes life hard for conventional designs costing any more. The new Antal EX uses modern technologies well, adds some nice technical flourishes, yet costs just £1,500. bonjour, je viens de me procurer des enceintes triangle ANTAL 902, je sais que ces enceintes sont des évolutions des 202. je voudrais un ampli home-cinema (pas forcement les derniers modèles ) car j'aimerai compléter mes enceintes plus tard avec un sub + satellites sans changer l'ampli. I just wish I discovered them sooner. betwen 100 and 200 hours this blending improved even more, supprisingly the tweeters seemed to take the longest brake in time. So always audition first, as even Triangle occasionally cannot resist to make speakers that sound like horrible mass-market B&W. Bass seems to be sometimes loose. i love these speakers!!!!! these were just WAY better than any others. if either one is harsh or lacks bass, they will do so. i qualify myself as an audiophile, not because of having the bucks (which i don''t - that''s one of the reasons why i own the antal), but for my ears! I possde these speakers for a little over a year. !like the other reviews I have to point out the imaging[ because of my wife I have to keep my speakers close to gether] even at 6 feet apart I get a sound stage that fills the room dispite this I find that they are very placement senitive and must be toed in. But what really is incredible about these large speakers is that they have abosultely no issues about room size or positioning.
